It has been a wonderful day. The rain quit this morning but we had the high winds most of the day. It has been overcast most of the day with occasional sunshine. The coolness has been wonderful. What a breath of fresh air. We have had the doors and windows open.
We drove around today to look at other marinas. Wanted to see who had flooding and problems. We have had outrageously high electric bills this summer so are looking for other options. Not sure we want to leave here because we have been otherwise happy. But it is hard to figure these high electric bills into the budget.
Dick is now working and I will be as soon as they get all the paperwork in order.
Our little dog is doing great and we are too.

WE thought about you two going through this hurricane. Bill's son on the Outer Banks is always watchful for flooding in his downstairs, but I think it did not happen this time. Lots of rain and wind and more erosion of the beach areas. Good to hear from you!
