What a fine day it has been.  Only one disagreement with the captain and it got resolved quickly.
We are anchored out at Tarpon Basin near Key Largo.  Very nice place.  Quiet up until a couple minutes ago when the captain turned on the generator.  It was a beautiful sunny day with calm seas.  Our favorite combination.  That was good because the water was very skinny at times.  That means it was not very deep.  We are traveling alone which requires that we must read the maps and figure out where we are all the time.  It got better when we figured all that out.
There was so much Sunday afternoon boat traffic.  Go fast boats and they don't slow down for anyone.  Boaters are more polite in Michigan.
So it has been a good day on the water.  Tomorrow we are headed up toward Miami and Biscayne Bay.  Planning to anchor out again tomorrow night then into Ft. Lauderdale for 3 days.
Took a bunch of pictures this afternoon.  More to come.
Out of no where coming toward us this morning was Dick's dream boat, a 55 Flemming.  Not the sailboat.

The birds are standing on sticks poking up in the channel.  It was only about a foot deep there.  We were a couple miles out from shore.

There are 2 people and a dog walking on these shoals.  They have a boat there also.

Out of no where there are these mangroves with a very narrow cut thru them and of course the go fast boats flying past us on all sides.
